James had remained completely quiet throughout Lily and Baldur's entire conversation. He just remained seated, knees tucked into his chest, his arms wrapped around them. He tried to remain calm, not wanting the other two to grow worried. But the Australian couldn't stop the knotting in his stomach. What had happened? Really... He couldn't understand. One second he had been shaking Arthur, then he'd been flung across the room, and then Lily was pressing a scrap piece of fabric (ripped from her clothing, he realized belatedly) to the cut on his head. Luckily it had stopped bleeding.
The Australian was so on edge, the moment he heard his name (despite how faint it was) he was on his feet and out the kitchen door. He spotted Arthur and Odin, a look of utter relief washing over his face. And for once James didn't care if anyone found out he had been terrified. "Yo-You're okay!"
Of course he did curse the small shake in his voice.

Odin stayed close to Arthur to make sure he wouldn't collapse and hurt himself more as for Baldur, he acknowledge the man was glad to see that he was doing well. But otherwise the two Nordics stayed silent.

The relief he felt at seeing James up and at least okay coursed through him in a fast wave that his knees went weaker (although, that might have been exhaustion catching up with him) and he had to put out a hand against the wall to steady himself. "James!" he choked on his words with how fast they were trying to make their way out of him. "Are... are you alright?" he stumbled forward, looking for injuries.
His questing eyes hit the cut on the boys forehead and even though it didn't look all that serious, Arthur couldn't help the pang of regret that he'd caused the damage.

"I should be askin' you that mate." He responded, after making sure that his voice wouldn't shake again. Reaching out a hand to steady the captain, James normal grin tugged downward into a small frown. "What the hell ha-"
He was cut off by a blonde head poking beneath his arm and sending the Australian a step or two back. Lily's eyes were wide as she looked at Arthur, worrying her bottom lip before speaking up. Albeit, shyly. She didn't know if it was her place to say anything or not. "You should... You should sit down Mr. Kirkland..."
James glanced at her, before at Arthur. And he couldn't agree more. "Little sheila's right. You look paler... Well then usual..."

"I'll make something for him to eat, and don't protest captain magic takes a lot out of you and you need to regain it back." Odin said as he headed into the kitchen to make a meal for a king.
Baldur remained silent but observed everything. He couldn't understand that on his ship. His family couldn't be like this.

He blinked a few times at the worry both showed him so obviously. Offering a faint smile to the two of them he stepped - well, stumbled - towards a chair and sat down with a heavier thump than he originally intended. "As the doctor orders," he joked ruffling the girls hair with one hand as he sat.
"...are you sure you're alright, James?" he asked as the humor left his face again and he looked up worriedly.

"It's just a cut. I've had worse." He grinned, attempting his best to show the captain that he was fine. Ignoring the dull throbbing of his head at the moment. It would go away anyways. And it was only a cut, there was no reason to worry so much over it. The bright grin faded off his face however, the youth crossing his arms over his chest. "What happened?"
Lily meanwhile stood off to the side, not sure whether or not she should even be present. This seemed like something between the crew. Did that mean she should leave. She looked down idly fixing her ruffled hair, a small smile tugging at her lips. 'Doctor's orders'? She wouldn't mind learning how to be a doctor, how to help others...

Odin hummed as his captain did as he was told before he went off to get something for everyone to eat. Even though it looked like his Grandson was falling asleep at the table. Not that things haven't been exciting but it was probably just some illness the boy tended to gain.
When he was younger he always seemed to be catching something one would think that his immune system would be up and running by now. Of course then again he could just be tired.
Odin shouldn't think so much about it and decided he should just cook. He did wonder if Lily wanted to help so he called out.
"Lily dear do you want to help cook?" he asked with a smile.
