The moment James heard the choked sob, he had to do everything in his power not to rush forward. His heart beat even quicker. Arthur never cried. The Australian wasn't the one to be frightened easily, nor was he one to admit his fear. But at the moment, not even he could deny the fear that was knotting tighter and tighter into his stomach.
What the Hell had happened that made the captain frightened to the point of tears?
Shaking his head, he turned, changing plans as he walked to Baldur and Lily. There was no use having people crowd around. Odin... Odin had this handle. He hoped. "C'mon you two. Let's give the captain some air!"
Lily was ready to protest, worry evident on her face, but James was quick to plant his hands on her shoulder steering her away from the doorway.

Baldur nodded at James request, not wanting to put more pressure on an injured and distraught man. And the Captain looked horrible as well. So quietly he headed out hoping his Grandfather knew what was he doing and that he didn't make it worse.
Odin on the other hand, his Grandfather instincts kicked in as he heard the sob and brought Arthur close into a hug.
"It's okay, when you calm down I'll tell you. Now take a deep breath, and let it out slowly again." the Scandinavian said doing his best to comfort the Briton to the best of his abilities. He raised, a couple of grand kids so he should be able to handle this.

He clung to the warmth that Odin emitted - a warmth that was pleasing and didn't burn like the other did - and tried to do as he was told. He choked a few times as he tried to breath deeply and calmly and to his embarrassment, he couldn't stop the tears.
Slowly but surely he had more sense of himself, as the burning pain receded and he could think instead of react. His nose had nearly plugged up somewhere along the line so, sniffing, he pulled far enough away to reach for the dresser to the side of his bed - only to find it knocked on it's side and slightly charred.
"Wh-what happened?" he wiped at his face with his sleeve in an attempt to regain some semblance of calm. "I... I don't think I've ever felt anything like that before..."

Lily stayed quiet, letting James steer her down the hallway and back to the kitchen. She sat down, scooping the bunny up in her arms as she tried to calm herself. She wished there was something she could do. But from the looks of it there really wasn't anything. Odin seemed to know what to do, she would just have to put her face in him. Petting the rabbit she glanced towards James, who had taken a seat near the door, knees drawn into his chest. He looked ready to spring up at any moment. Quietly she let her eyes move to Baldur, trying to figure out something to say, maybe to take all their minds off what was happening.
"S-So is Mr. Odin really your Grandfather?"

"It seems you had a magic overload....as it appears since everything in the room is singed or knocked back but you remain unharmed." Odin said looking around the room before offering a handkerchief to Arthur. He sat down on the bed looking around the room. "Ah you sure did a number though, you must have been repressing it for awhile."
Baldur looked up from staring at the table. He didn't know why he was staring at the table. He pondered Lily's question for a moment.
"I don't really know...I have a feeling of familiarity when I'm near him so it could be possible." He answered. Baldur did wonder how the man was so young looking for a Grandfather and if that was true then his brothers across the sea on the mainland, why wasn't he with them? Why was he so far away and what of they're parents? Where they actually related at all? Maybe Baldur thought of so because of the same feeling of when they found him.

He accepted the handkerchief with a shaky hand and dabbed at his eyes, not wanting to scrub them as they were already irritated with salty tears. "...magic?" it sounded so frustratingly familiar! He looked up, brow furrowed in confusion. "I... I know you have it - but me?" Was that the reason behind the odd feelings? Magic?
Somehow that didn't feel right.

She blinked, a bit confused as she listened to Baldur. She wanted to question it further, but fear of inadvertently offending him caused her to hold her tongue. Petting the rabbit in her lap she tried to think of something else to say. Anything to keep the quiet away. "S-So, do you have any other relatives?"
She looked at both men in the room, but James seemed not to have heard her. Or at least wasn't willing to answer.

"It's the most likely option" Odin said thinking about it. He really didn't know what else to say about it. All the clues where here so it had to be wouldn't it? Otherwise a bomb went off and they're captain was spared. But that wouldn't explain the captain throwing James across the room without touching him. "Magic is something to be embraced, not feared nor bottled up. Otherwise it'll grow and soon explode. Like what had happened here. Well that's what the evidence is pointing to."
"I have a Storebror...but he's on Aksel's ship right now. I don't know if he's worrying or not." Baldur said before looking at Lily. "What about you? Do you have any relatives?"

"No, no... I don't think I have much of a choice but to believe you seeing as how I did..." he gestured vaguely to the room, "all this..." he huddled in on himself, fingers wringing around the handkerchief now that he wasn't using it on his face. "It's just so... odd. I feel as though... I'd known about all this time, but just... forgotten about it for a while..."
He could feel Gurt curling up at his side, patting his leg comfortingly and quite suddenly he realized - remembered even - what Gurt was. He was a fairy... a grim to be exact. And fairies meant magic. How in the world had he forgotten that?

Lily blinked, having not anticipated to be asked back. She fell quiet for a moment, idly petting the rabbit again. "My big brother... Though I don't even know where he is now..."
It had been months after all since she had set out to look for him. But Lily had heard nothing in regards to her older brother. Not a clue at all. For all she knew he could be...
But she couldn't think like that! She would find him! After all, it had only been a few months so maybe... She blinked, looking up from the rabbit to look at Baldur. It was a long shot but... "I... I was just wondering, have you heard of anyone by the name of Vash Zwingli..? H-He looks like me, sort of..."
Actually, now that she thought of that... It was a bit weird that Vash and she looked so similar. Especially since they weren't biologically related...

"It's alright, we've all forgotten things over the years. So just relax and we'll figure everything out." Odin said petting the faerie beside the Captain. He stood up to his full height and smiled. "So shall we try to figure it out?"
"Sadly, I don't think I have." Baldur said laying his head down on the table. He was feeling tired and he wished he could help Lily but he didn't know a Vash. "But if I ever do meet someone named Vash that looks like you, I'll let him know...that your looking for him."

Wiping his face one last time and taking in a deep breath, Arthur put his calm, captain face back on. "Right. I... I need to see how James is... I hurt him, I think?" he pursed his lips grimly, settling his fairy friend on his head as he reached for his jacket (from inside his closet, so it thankfully wasn't charred) to slip over his sleeping clothes.

"Thank you!" A smile spread and she held the rabbit closer. Falling quiet again she looked down. There was a slim chance, but just maybe Baldur would one day run into Vash. And then, if they hadn't met yet, he would learn that she was looking for him...
He was going to be furious though when he found out she had been traveling from boat to boat looking for him. Vash would be absolutely furious, especially if he ever found out about what had happened today...
What would happen tomorrow? She would have to find a new ship to carry her to the next city, or a way to another town... Unless...
Maybe she could stay on the Grim?

"Alright Captain, but let's take it easy. Magic can drain you and you did use a lot of it." Odin said staying close to Arthur just in case his captain felt weak in the knees or not. Ah being the over protective Grandparent. He wondered if Arthur would mind that or not.
Baldur gave Lily a small smile in return before resting his head on his arms. He heard noises but it was probably the crew walking around. It was strange not knowing who was who on this boat.

Feeling rather wobbly on his feet as he found himself suddenly vertical, he reached out a steadying hand, leaning it against Odin for a moment to regain his balance. With a small, grateful smile, he found the strength to walk out on his own, looking for his missing crew member and guests. "James? Lily? Baldur?" he called out not very loudly.
