Everything was wavy, unfocused. He couldn't make heads or tails of what he was seeing as the moment he thought he could see, everything would go black before returning to being fuzzy. It was dark - it almost felt as if he was in a small, rather dank room and he desperately wanted his eyes to focus!
There was something on the floor - green and glowing and powerful. He could tell there was a circle, but there was so much more to it, and the feeling that thrummed through his system was of pure, unadulterated power. Without even thinking about it, he reached for it, fingers questing, touching -
Burning. He sc-
-reamed as the fire he touched transformed itself into the real world, rocking his room - no, the whole ship - with the force of a fireball. But Arthur couldn't tell that - he was stuck in the power and it burst from him again, sending everything in his room not nailed down (and even some of the things that were) crashing into the singed walls.

A scream, coupled with the sudden rock of the ship woke Lily from her (rather) light sleep. Sitting up in her makeshift bed, she rubbed her eyes sleepily, before petting the rabbit that had curled up with her. She paused for a moment, waiting until the bunny had settled back down before she rose to her feet.
Another scream. Another harsh rock. She braced herself against the wall, eyes wide. And she wondered briefly if she should find someone else. However, another scream sent her forward without any hesitation. She followed the scream, reaching the room it originated from, nearly falling over when an unexpected force pushed the door open.
Cautiously she peered in, eyes widening further. “M-Mr. Kirkland!”

Odin and Baldur where quickly thrown from their beds and the scream from the captain got Odin on his feet quickly. He place Baldur on the bed and gave him a serious look.
"stay here." was all Odin said before rushing for the captain quarters. If something was wrong, or they were being attack Odin was sure to give who ever it was hell.
He reached the captain's cabin and coughed at the smell of burnt wood. "Captain!" He hollered and pounded on the door.

The ships violent rock nearly knocked James overboard, the Australian barely managing to snag hold of the railing and haul himself back onto the deck. Blinking, a bit confused he looked around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. So what was-
The captain's scream caught his attention immediately. Without pause he took off, taking the steps to the captain's cabin two at a time. He saw Odin and Lily ahead, James skidding to a halt, and pulling the girl behind him in a protective manner, a hand on his holstered pistol.
"What the Hells goin' on!? We're not under attack are we!?"

Arthur was lost - he desperately wanted to let go of that power, but he didn't know how and he didn't know where he really was anymore. Was he still alive, or had he died when the burning took him? He sobbed, trying to remember how he got there, how to get back because he desperately wanted this to end.

"What's happening?" Her eyes were wide, trying to get passed James, but the Australian was set on keeping her behind him and away from the door. The blonde continued to try and bypass him, looking over the taller brunet at Odin. Hoping the older man knew what was going on.

Without a second thought Odin quickly kicked the door down and rushed in to see the placed burned beyond belief. He was surprised that the whole ship didn't go up. He quickly ran over to Arthur but didn't dare touch him.
"Captain? Captain! Can you hear me?" He asked trying to get his captain to snap out of it.
As for Iceland he watched from the door way not wanting to get in the way but curious on what happened. It looked bad from where he stood and he hoped they weren't being attacked because what ever caused that could most likely take down the whole ship.

"Stay here, okay?" He didn't wait for Lily to actually respond. Instead, he opted to push her to where Baldur was, eyeing the two before following Odin. His eyes went wide, taking in the condition of the room with a low whistle, before his eyes darted to where Odin and the captain was.
It was there that panic overtook, James reaching out and giving Arthur a firm shake. "Captain!?"

He felt as if he were about to split into pieces as there was no forward or back, up or down but he was being pulled in all directions. And as horrible as it felt, something - somewhere - touched him. The pain of being pulled apart was nothing compared to knowing someone so well it seemed as if they were you - and he wasn't Arthur anymore, he was James and he was so worried about his captain (captain? wasn't he the cap...). With another scream and a purpose, he unknowingly gathered his powers and shoved at the person.
(Outside of Arthur's mind, James would be violently flung back.)
But with the presence gone, he could finally feel sense again - and he was asleep. He told himself to wake up -
-and with a sudden jerk he was sitting up in his bed, gasping for breath and incredibly scared and tired. Huddling into a ball, a headache worse than any hangover he'd ever had hit him right between the eyes.

A small scream escaped her, blue eyes widening as she saw James get flung back. Hitting the wall with a sickening 'thud' and then falling to the ground motionless. Slipping passed Baldur she rushed to the Australian pirate. Blood was trailing down his face, Lily feeling worry knot in her stomach as she shook him by the shoulder. When she heard him groan, brown eyes cracking open. Good, he wasn't knocked out. Dazed and hurt, but conscious. And she wasted no more time, tearing off a piece of her dress pressing it against the wound before turning her attention to Odin. Her eyes landed on the captain, fear knotting her stomach again.
"I-Is he okay?"

"Captain, come on Arthur look at me! If you don't you'll have another explosion." Odin said in a scary strict tone as ever. He was going to have to try to get his captain to speak to him. It was plainly obvious on what was going on and he was prepared for whatever the captain was going to throw at him.
"Lily, let's just stay out here I'm sure James is okay...." Iceland said keeping Lily back not wanting the poor girl to get hit by anything if something happened again.

He heard the commanding tone and responded without thinking, jerking to look up at Odin with fearful, unrecognizing eyes. He shook uncontrollably, hands coming up to cover his mouth as slowly, slowly, sense came back into his eyes. ".. O-odin?" his voice shook more than he did.

Lily tried to stay planted where she was. However, when James gave her a small push, and grinned letting her know he was fine, she nodded. Standing behind Baldur she peeked into the room. She could feel her stomach knot worriedly, hoping that everything would be alright.
James meanwhile, pushed himself to his feet, holding the scrap of fabric to his head. He made no move though to step closer. The Australian just watched. He honestly hoped Odin knew what he was doing...

"It's me Captain, now just take a deep breath. Even if it hurts! You've got to take a deep breath and let it out slowly." Odin instructed gently placing his hands on the Briton's shoulders. At least it looked like Arthur was regaining some sense.
Baldur was glad that his Grandfather knew what he was doing because if he didn't. Well Baldur would have wished that he just sat on the docks waiting for his brother and Aksel to return. But he had to admit that this was rather interesting.

He could feel his hands shaking, even as he held on to the covers of his bed for dear life, but he concentrated on what Odin was saying and managed to slowly and painfully take in a deep breath. Letting it out, however, it got choked on a frantic sob and he had to duck his head so the other people (that he was starting to become aware of) couldn't see the frightened tears in his eyes. "Wh-what the hell is happening?" he managed to choke out around the lump in his throat, voice weak and unstable.
