Name: Aiden
Country of Origin: New Zealand
Gender Male
Age: 17 (cause he's sweeter then 16~!)
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 134
Appearance:
[[His hair is in a short curly bob, and he appears to have a spiral-shaped ahoge similar to Feliciano's. Looks almost like a sheep's horn, sometimes.]]
Crew member of: None
Status: None as of right now.
Pet: N/A
Crest: N/A
Personality: Aiden is quite the 'happy go lucky' kind of a guy. He's pretty energetic, at times at least, and stands up for what is right! Being the sweet talking guy that he is, Aiden is pretty easy to get along with. He has the will to stickup for his friends (and crew mates) and wont hesitate to jump into the fray for someone who needs him. He takes pride in his loyalty to his friends/crew, but doesn't think he's better then anyone else.
For just one guy he's got a big attitude. Aiden believes he can do anything and loves a challenge to prove it. That "can do" attitude has been seen to be excel in situations. He's like a big kid, he even owns a rather large sheep plushie that he'll cuddle with when no one else is around. Without this item he probably wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
History: The man of the house, Blaise, was Aiden's father-like figure, but they didn't seem to get along very well. Blaise would tell Aiden what to do and tried to tell him how to run his life. Not to be rude, but, Aide didn't want any of what Blaise was offering, he had plans of his own. Sadly, Blaise looked down upon all of the things that Aiden truly wanted to do with his life, they just couldn't see eye-to-eye. So in his younger days Aiden had a tendency to leave the house, telling no one that he was leaving or even where he was going.(he wouldn't want Blaise to find out) He would wonder over to the neighbor's huge grassy sheep fields where he would spend time with the creatures, lie on the grass, and gaze into the sky. Sometimes he would even walk over to a small pond that the sheep would go to and just relax. He could, and quite frankly, he would stay out there for hours on end in this field. No one knowing where he was the whole day through.
He did this almost everyday for a whole year till one day his 'secret getaway spot' was discovered by the man of the house. Blaise thought it would be best to move so that Aiden would stop his childish dreaming. This was not a great idea. Sure Aiden wanted to travel, but he didn't want to be forced to do it! He ran to that field one last time hoping that some way things could change. He was met there by the neighbors, who told him that they knew about his many visits and that the sheep wont be the same without their friend. They gave Aiden something that they had made, (what seemed at the time to be) a "life size" sheep plush. He treasures this plushie even to this very day.
On the day of the move, Aiden thought he'd put his plan in action and he stowed away on an outgoing cargo ship with nothing but the cloths on his back and the sheep doll he was given. He didn't look back at the things he was leaving behind. He traveled with this ship for a few months, but eventually got tired of hiding from it's crew and made himself known before parting with the various cargo men and venturing into a small town that he would call home for a few years to come.
This town was home to the Maori people. With an understanding and the striking tattoo added to Aiden's face (Moko) they were quick to take him in as their own. It was then that Aiden spent the next few years of his life, learning, studying, and becoming one with these people. He was taught in the way of Mau, a distinctive fighting style where he fought in hand to hand combat, and Mau Rakau, where he would learn to use various weapons of which needed their own training and general styles as well as the as the personal adaptation to that style. With months and months of hard work and training Aiden became very skilled in hand to hand combat. He was also trained in the ways of the Taiaha and Wakaika. It's not all fun and games, but at the end of the day he felt welcome and knew much about the traditional Maori ways.
