((I totally fail -shot-))
MeiMei clung to her captain’s arm half heartedly as they walked through the streets of Libertalia. They had been down on their luck lately, so he decided they’d stop of and have some ‘moral boosting’ time. The crew had eagerly taken to it as soon as it was suggested. She wasn’t a fan of going out in public clinging to the captain of the boat, but of course, she had no choice. Her brown eyes glanced around rather attentively taking in everything around her. Even though she hated going out, she rarely got to. Even today the captain merely threw a plain dull colored dress at her and said, ‘We’ve docked, let’s go.’ While they were walking, the colorful and interesting looking clothes caught her eye the most.
After tugging her captain’s sleeve, she detached from him and walked over to a vendor, running her fingers over the soft material. MeiMei glanced back towards her captain and sighed. He was staring at his men disapprovingly. They had of course taken a liking to the alcohol that was available, and were getting quite drunk. While she was looking at the clothes she saw something out of the corner of her eye. A man… and he looked… familiar? She squinted and appraised him lightly. After a moment, she breathed in sharply and covered her mouth. Her lower lip trembled slightly, as her knees wobbled, “Y-Yong Soo!”

When Yong Soo had finally managed to convince Yao that leaving the boat in favor of 'taking in some local color, da ze~' was a favorable course of action, the Korean had known that he was about to find some pretty amazing things. The marketplace alone was a plethora of sights, scents, and sounds, with diverse fares from across the entire world over on display for young eager eyes. Yong Soo had fully expected to be awed, amazed, and absolutely delighted by the variety.
What Yong Soo had not expected was to find something familiar within the strange.
It was while the Korean had been mindlessly browsing through some hanboks (originating in Korea, of course, and very finely made--he didn't intend on buying them, but they were nice to look at all the same) that he heard a feminine voice calling his name. Yong Soo turned around, wide brown eyes blinking, and was stunned to find someone he recognized.
Surprise quickly morphed to ecstatic glee, however, as the Korean gave the plainly dressed girl a broad grin, raising his arms and flailing, "Mei-Mei~! Is that you, da ze?!"
So excited he was to see her, the spry young Asian forwent the conventional path of circumventing the table between them in favor of bracing his arms on the table and springing straight over, landing on the girl's left and eclipsing her within a sweeping bear-hug.
"Where have you been, da ze?! How did you get here?! Were you shanghai'd by pirates, da ze?! You were shanghai'd, weren't you? That's okay, because Yao-Hyung and I are pirates now, too! He's nearby, looking for a new wok because the old one's got a dent in it. I'm so happy to see you, da ze! I know Yao-Hyung will be, too! I know, because happiness originated in Korea you kn-"
The Korean froze mid-babble, hearing a small 'click' and feeling a strange pressure in the small of his back. Turning his head, Yong Soo found himself face-to-face with a pirate. A rather surly looking pirate. A pirate with a gun to his spine. And a big fluffy hat that screamed 'captain'. And a hostile looking crew of buccaneers behind him, with gazes that read 'redrum' backwards.
Yong Soo stared at the man, wide smile still hanging in place, before raising a slightly shaking sleeve and waving, "Hiya da ze~ ;;;"

Yao sighed. Not exactly sure how Yong Soo convinced him that it was ok to dock so soon after docking not that long ago. Well at least Yao could use this opportunity to get himself a new wok, which got dented the last time a pirate crew decided to raid their ship, while he was in the middle of cooking. Needless to say, after bashing many skulls Yao needed a new wok to cook anymore dishes aboard the ship.
However Yao was pretty picky with his cooking utensils and spent hours on deciding what to buy due to his extreme pickiness with how foods are made and taste. Yong Soo accompanied him for a short while, but soon ventured off to explore the city after getting thoroughly bored with Yao and his hunt for a new wok.
After many hours of searching, Yao finally found a wok he was satisfied with, and haggled down the price with the salesman as well. Feeling accomplished, Yao then began to search the city for Yong Soo
