The shrieks of the others attending to the teahouse, patrons and servers alike; they had reason to though. Hà glared up at the taller man. What did he want with her anyways? She was pretty sure she was innocent of the crimes. Key word was pretty sure. Of what he had accused her for, she was sure as hell she didn’t do it.
“What do you mean I beat you?! I would never step into the ring!” The girl tried to defend herself. “Why would I have any reason TO fight you?!” The girl growled. She didn’t want to start any business, but if he had started with her, then she was going to finish it, and win it.
It didn’t turn out too well. Of course, in the end, she managed to leave partially wounded. So she was slightly abused, but who wouldn’t be when a woman stood up to a man in such a way. Scratch that, a working girl to a patron. Some may see it as the same thing, but once those men got into the beds, then the tables were turned. IT was as if they were turned into monsters in those beds.
Oh well, whatever she needed to do to be able to anonymously send her parents the money they desperately needed. It wasn’t like she could be any more of a disgrace to them, getting down and having to go into such a job. It made her feel dirty every time she thought about it, don’t even get her started on doing the deed. But of course, that was the last time she had to do it, and she was able to buy herself out of the place and get out of the hell hole with a small sum of money.
Clutching the thin fabric around her shoulders, the woman headed off in the night. Her innocent, brown eyes turned to a slightly lighter hue, giving her a slightly feline feel if one were to look at her. Stalking the night, the woman’s face grew into a smirk.
Tonight was the night. He was sure of it. Charlie was sure that he could take over the woman’s body long enough so that he could somehow sneak into some cranny and get away. Shaking her head, the girl seemed to have gone back to normal.
“… Where to now…?” She asked herself softly, not sure of where to go. What had gone over her? It was like someone had taken over her, like before she was slapped back at the housing inn.
She clutched her head in her hands, shutting her eyes completely. “Someone… Please help…” She whispered, wrapping her arms around her head. A sitting duck; she was like a sitting duck at the moment.
