Name: Eva Vermeulen
Country of Origin: Koninkrijk België - Belgium
Gender Female
Age: twenty-one
Height: 171cm
Weight: around 67kg
Appearance:
okay; note. will find another picture later. With... pirate clothes. This is just a visual aid, I guess.
At the age of twenty two, Eva stands at about 171cm in her full height and although her weight varies from time to time, it is often at an average of around sixty-something kilograms. She has short, wavy blonde hair and almost always has it held back with a green, red or black headband with ribbons. Her eyes are a rich, bright green and it’s easy to see how she feels just by looking at them. When it comes to clothes, Eva tries to keep it simple – when she is on land, she likes to wear dresses – she has a favourite, a green and white striped dress -, but she is often seen wearing practical clothes like blouses and trousers and her signature high laced up boots. Sometimes she adds a neckbow or ties with intricate designs to her outfit and occasionally wears gloves.
Eva is a pretty girl – and she knows it. The thing is, she doesn’t need ridiculously low cuts or anything revealing to display it.

Personality:
In an overview, Eva is a generally cheerful lady who tries to see the best in other people. She’s easy to befriend so as long as you don’t mention specific keywords and she’s a very sweet, helpful sort of person. She’s a bit of a tease and isn’t beyond making someone else flustered with little comments, though it’s usually said in a joking manner. She likes sweet and cute things, though she doesn’t often see much of that nowadays.
However, like anyone else, Eva always has her flaws – for one, she’s very selfish. This is no lie; sometimes, even if she’s doing something jokingly, it can turn into an argument or something of the sort and she’ll later come to admit that it has to do with her own selfishness. She’s also quite stubborn in certain situations. Sometimes she gets quite angry and she says things in a spiteful way, or just says things she really shouldn’t.
History:
Eva was born to a humble family and ever since she was a child, she had a most unusual feeling that she was, well, different. She couldn’t quite explain how or why, as there was no obvious difference between her or any of her siblings – save perhaps for the fact that she got pushed around quite a bit, which helped her learn to take care and stand up for herself when others would not or could not. She was always a good cook and had a love for confectionery; admittedly she was not the best, but it’s like she never really had a lot of failed experiments to be able to make certain things quite well. However, this was not the only thing she was good at.
As she grew older and, as was mentioned, began to stand up for herself, she got into more fights. It took many bruises, much pain and sweat for her to not be pushed to the ground so easily. It took a lot for her to realise that she could do something useful if only she did not let herself be pushed around (sadly, she still does; just not as much).
But what was really Eva’s desire to leave off to the sea? What could possibly motivate her to leave her home, her family, her little corner of confectionery and dreams and general feeling of peace to acquaint herself with crowds she knew nothing of, people who would hurt her without second thought, not to mention the dangers mother nature would make her face? Well, she didwant to... Discover new things. Get in touch with other cultures.
But that was not necessarily it – there is a substantial difference between searching for those while in land, going from place to place, and searching for them out in the world of pirates and privateers and the bottom of the sea. But more than this, there was something else: ever since she was little, she remembered having the distinct feeling that she was missing someone – or maybe more than one person? Or perhaps it was not someone, but something? She could not quite recall, really. Sometimes it was a thought that came to her while she was with family, other times when she was alone – it was never a dream, though, just a strange feeling. She never saw faces, she never heard voices, names, places – it was just a feeling. Sometimes it was happy and made her smile – like someone was keeping her safe; sometimes, it brought up a strong, patriotic feeling and love for her home land. And sometimes... Sometimes it is the faint recollection of a separation and bitterness and she can’t quite make sense out of – nowadays she just blames it on the guilt and selfishness she sometimes feels for leaving her family behind. Then again, she blames a lot of things on her selfishness.
About this feeling, though - it was something that did not occur often, but after the first few years, she had to stop and wonder what was going on. Perhaps it was something from her early childhood, but it did not seem like that. Perhaps she just needed to sit down and write a book? But just thinking of it, trying to understand this strange feeling – that alone was heartbreaking and somewhat frightening.
She needed an answer and the first thing that jumped to her mind was the sea. Add that to her wanting to explore new cultures and she thought she had the perfect plan – the sea was calling to her and she would find her answer there. That, or maybe she just wanted peace of mind, really – from those thoughts, at least.
To this day, Eva is hoping to find answers to questions spawned from these feelings of hers – she wants to know the reason behind it and every day, she feels like she is a step closer to doing so. Sometimes she is scared of finding these answers, but her curiosity overcomes these adversities. So she still hopes – and that is perhaps what keeps her going.
She has yet to join a crew definitively; for now, she is just looking to be accepted into one. After all, she is young and inexperienced, but she can hold herself in a fight. She is not an expert, but she can wield a weapon to the best of her knowledge if she needs to defend herself – and for her, that alone is a great achievement.
It is also worthy of mention that Eva has a high tolerance to certain alcoholic beverages, particularly beer. Just so you know.
Did you read the rules? Who is a Beastie?: You mean captain Teague, right? Oh. Jack Sp—Captain Jack Sparrow? That works, too~
So um. Right. Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg are siblings. So if any change to my app is necessary because of that, feel free to remind me. I had this for a while, waiting to be finished so...
