(ok, so, since Lily and China are MIA this weekend and they both are integral to most of the threads going on - for some shits and giggles the rest of us are picking a character and going for A MAD DUNGEON CRAWL that's completely ooc for this game and in no way reflects what's actually happening in our actual rp. LET'S HAVE CRAZY FUN Y'ALL! (and watch out! I has a D20~ >D)
Arthur stared up at the gaping maw of the cavern mouth and raised a thick eyebrow. The dark maw looked very much like a tooth filled smile - if the smile was that of a snake that was about to swallow you whole. He gulped down his fear and tore his eyes away to look at the treasure map in his hands. This was the place, alright - where supposedly the Legendary Treasure was buried.
Adjusting the sword at his side and quickly flipping the feathers of his tricorn back out of his eyes, he turned to the rest of his group - the many men who followed him... stalked him... saw him with the map and insisted on following him so they could steal his treasure. But, he digressed, as he knew he'd make out with the loot - even if he had to stab everyone else in the back for it. Internally shrugging, he thought 'well, I AM a pirate.' and continued on with life.
"So, men. Are you ready to enter this cave? It's supposed to be..." and he gave his happiest creepy grin. "HAUNTED. By evil spirits."
So, to keep things a little less confusing, I'm going to set up a posting order now instead of who can type the fastest. The order goes:
Denmark Iceland Prussia Latvia Brazil Korea
and if anyone else wants to join in (assuming spain sees this and wants to add his own character in) they go in order behind Korea~

"Haunted?" The Dane scoffed. "As if 'm not used to spirits trying to beat me up!" Norway was always setting his spirit guardian on him, there was nothing to be feared here, little is worse than an angry Norwegian coming at you.
Aksel stepped forward so that he and Arthur were at equal distance from the mouth of the cave, the usual grin plastered on his delighted face. He'd stop at nothing would to get whatever treasure lie in wait, 'specially not with his reliable and fearsome axe at his side, along with Baldur, the Icelandic boy he regarded as his little brother.
He took yet another step forward, one that dared anyone to try and outdo him. He then turned to face Baldur, along with the rest of the group, sported the broadest grin he could muster and shouted, "C'mon now, don't tell me you men are afraid of the dark?"

Baldur sighed at Aksel's antics and couldn't believe that he was being dragged into this. He was a navigator! What could he possibly do in a dark cave instead of lead this idiot back out?
"If I said yes I was would you leave me alone?" Baldur asked, it wasn't that he didn't like being around Aksel, oh no it was sort of fun to watch the other make a fool of himself. But it was rather nice when his Storebror was there.
Being alone with the Dane with other strangers made his head hurt and he rather much just go back to the shoreline and rest. Anyways he highly doubted that Aksel would leave him alone.

Gilbert heaved a sigh, shifting from foot to foot as he gazed up at his ship suspended overhead. He didn't have a lot of patience to begin with, but all of this waiting around was really wearing the little he did have thin. Fast.
"Let's get on with this, already!" he shouted from the crowd before pushing his way to the front, arrogant grin growing wide at the sight of the few men standing at the front of the cave. "Haunted or not, if there's treasure in there, it's probably got my awesome name written all over it~"
He quickly removed his Luger from it's holster, waving it a bit carelessly in front of him in the general direction of the cave.
"Onward! The awesome me demands it!"

Thiago was one of those who had followed Arthur after seeing the map, out of curiosity. But it wasn't like he didn't mind if someone else got the treasure. Part of the fun of searching for something was finding something, mainly in a case like that.
He observed the cavern mouth for a moment. Well... He couldn't say that that cavern didn't seem scary, but no evil spirits could scare him enough to make him cower.
'Evil spirits, huh?'
The Brazilian grinned, still looking at the cave. Now he had just to wait the Englishman get into the cave and follow him - since he was the one who had the map.

Yong Soo's eyes glowed at the mere thought of treasure, as the Korean bounced on the balls of his feet. Just thinking of how much banana milk he could get... maybe he could share some with Brother Yao! Or even Mr. America!
'That would be nice, da ze~ |D' He stopped bouncing, letting his mind drift for a bit, before tuning in again on the talk of ghosts.
Yong Soo snickered behind his sleeve, concealing all but the corners of his manic grin. "Adventure originated in Korea, da ze~ I'm far from worried. Plus, in case of evil spirits," he paused dramatically, reaching into his sleeve, before pulling out with a flourish--
A small toy hand drum.
"I has a Korean Drum Trick, da ze~! " He wiggled the drum side to side, allowing the ribboned beads to bang against the skin. "Pacifying spirits originated in Korea, y'know~ |D" He hid the drum back in his sleeve, and adjusted his travel bag over his shoulders, donning his signature grin. Sang Ki bobbed, seeming to grin also, as the Korean made his way forward into the darkness.((Ftr- Drum trick prolly won't actually work. It's just in-character for him to think so))

Wow. What a bunch of lunatics - was all Arthur could think, ranging from the two idiots who were about to head in without him, to the tall kid with the drum. Either way, he grinned, not letting the idea of the lot of them trying to get at his treasure stop him. With a flick of his wrist and a murmured spell, there was a bright, glowing light sitting in his palm.
"Gentlemen. The map says this way!" he stepped into the cave, footsteps echoing as the sounds of water dripping and the noises of the people behind him were amplified. The cave quickly started to branch off in three directions - the map pointed to the right, however. With a confident smirk, he pressed on.

The Brit, who assumed himself the leader (he had the map, afterall), began their escapade into the abysmal caverns. Aksel boomed challengingly into the mouth of the cave, "Finally, let's get this freakshow on the road!" The sound of his voice and footsteps ricocheted off the walls and resonated throughout the cave.
"Baldur, c'mon, keep close to me!" He said with significantly less volume to his 'little bro'. Not only he wanted to make sure the Icelandic kid didn't decide to bail on him, being much better at navigation than Aksel was, but also so that nothing befell him; having the family-oriented disposition and overwhelming big-brother aura he resonated.
With axe in hand, Aksel boldly and possibly foolishly marched on through the caverns, pausing only for the Brit to consult the map at the fork in the path.

Baldur sighed, his "brother" didn't even hear him. So it looked like he had no real choice because if he didn't follow. Aksel would just turn around and grab him, dragging him through this treasure hunt.
So he walked up to his brother and stayed close. After all he didn't have a big weapon. Maybe a dagger that he kept to his side at all times but otherwise he didn't like carrying heavy items.
He made sure to look around making sure to keep his eyes open for anything that would stand out so he could find the way back and bring his idiot captain back with him.

Gilbert holstered his gun and unsheathed his sword as he followed the other men into the cave, looking around at the walls and ceiling with an insatiable curiosity. He held his blade at his side, keeping alert as he studied their surroundings, keeping just a few feet behind the man with the map and the light.
"How deep does this cave go, anyway?" he wondered aloud, and no, that was not a hint of fear in his tone. Not at all.
The Prussian captain glanced at the ground, kicking a few small rocks that were in his path and watching them scatter ahead until they were out of view, swallowed by the darkness that the magic light didn't reach. After a few steps from the light wielder, the stones came into view again, and a few steps later, he was kicking them ahead again, listening to the echos bouncing off of the cave walls.

The Brazilian decided to stay walking behind or beside the Englishman. He assumed it was safer, since this way he would have him into his field of view. Well, at least a bit safer, considering that nothing could be exactly safe in the middle of one adventure.
After glancing at the British once more, he turned his face to look around as he walked, a bit surprised about how thick the darkness ahead seemed to be. He had been into caves before, but this one seemed specially dark. Not that he feared the darkness, no, no. It was merely the absence of light, so there was no reason to be afraid of it. He supposed he probably had more reasons to be afraid of the men around him than reasons to be afraid of darkness or even be afraid of the evil spirits.

Yong Soo let his arms swing freely, his head lolling side to side, eyes skimming over the shadows at the edges of the magic light. Slowly, they adjusted, picking out vague shapes of pebbles in the dim, and when they came close the Korean nudged, gently skittering them up toward the Prussian.
An idle hum formed an insulating air of tune about his head, a fragile bubble that allowed the grin to stand against the darkness.
Because fear of the dark did not originate in Korea, da ze~
After a moment, Yong Soo came up close to the Englishman holding the map, opposite to the Brazilian, balancing on the pads of his feet and trying to sneak a peek over the shorter man's shoulder.

"These caves are supposed to go down at least a few miles underground and twice that in distance - and that's just the parts that have been explored. But every time someone tried to go farther, there would be an accident... or an attack." He mumbled that last bit even as the echo would carry it further. Eyes constantly traveling to the edge of the darkness and despite the cheery whistling of the Korean man off to one side and the pebble kicking German was constantly listening for the slightest noise outside of the norm.
The tunnel they had been following came out into a large, damp cavern - with stalactites and stalagmites growing up and around large pools of stagnant water. Arthur wrinkled his nose as he saw that there was no clear path through that didn't involve splashing through at least one of the slime encrusted pools and he regretted having worn a pair of his nicer boots. "Keep quiet going through here - the map says that the ceiling collapses easily." and as proof of that, large piles of rocks littered areas here and there.

The Dane scoffed at Arthur and the apparent caution in his voice. "I'm not letting stupid puddles get in my way! Keep up, with me Baldur!" he declared and charged recklessly headfirst through the stagnant pools, swinging his axe wildly in front of him because without the light that the Brit held, he had no clue as to what lie in front of him.

"Anko stop..." Baldur said quietly staying close to Arthur instead since he held a light and was quieter then his captain. He didn't want the ceiling to fall on him. He also wished that Aksel would stay close to him instead of rushing head long into things.
With a sigh he did venture forward a bit taking careful steps and remaining quiet as he moved further into the cave.
