Feliks suddenly wanted very much to be a pirate. He had woken up with idea in his head and he would not rest until he had fulfilled his current goal. Pirates were cool, he reasoned, they also wore fabulous outfits. It was also a job, sort of. Since running away from his uncle, Feliks hadn't had a job. He'd lived for a year on hand-outs and odd jobs. That wasn't an ideal lifestyle for someone who enjoyed having clean hair. There wasn't much of an opportunity to wash when you didn't actually live in a house.
And not doing so had been horrible for the blonde. He stayed in inns as much as possible, but sometimes resorted to sleeping on the streets. Gross. At times it wasn't that bad, especially when he happened to be in a nice area. Though sometimes he found himself in the worst places on his wanderings. There wasn't anywhere in particular he was going, until now. Now he was going to... somewhere. Where exactly did one go to become a pirate?
Well.. the sea, duh. Luckily for Feliks, he wasn't far from the sea at the time. He was pretty sure he was in some port town in Germany. All of the signs were in German, so he hadn't a clue as to the name of the town and he was afraid to ask. It didn't matter anyways, the sea was here. This was his ticket to finding pirates. Though would pirates want him...?
Feliks hadn't thought about that. He was fairly small for a man and didn't enjoy hard labor. Also, he probably looked a mess. His hair was pulled into a messy ponytail and his clothes were tattered and fraying. There was also the fact that he was probably going to ask someone how to find a pirate...
It was at noon, in the middle of a crowded German street, that Feliks gave up his short lived pirate dream.
((*Awkward first post* Purposefully made the town ambiguous so anyone could join in where ever they happened to be. ))

The food supply on the ship was running low and his little friend Toris was busy cleaning the ship, so the larger Russian man decided he would give him a break and go get groceries himself. For some odd reason he had accedentally docked himself on Germany, and that made the larger man uncomfortable. He tried to walk without being noticed, but his unusual coat and his thick Russian accent was a dead give away that he was not from around here.
Ivan stopped at a stall and pick up a hearty sum of meat to eat between him and his co pilot. He had a bigger jacket that before because he had stuck many an item inside of it. He leaned against a wall and watched al the German peoples and forgners and sighed. The police were string at him. He looked oddly bulky and even his hat showed signs he was a stealing pirate.

Perfect. Just perfect.
Toris was tired, starving, and now he had to go out and look for his captain to tell him that they were lower on food than they had previously thought, and maybe end up carrying a good portion of it back. To make matters worse, he had to look in the city in which they had stolen away on a ship. But that was long enough ago that nobody would be the wiser, right...? Toris kept telling himself that as he prowled the streets, searching aimlessly for the Russian man, who shouldn't be too hard to pick out of a crowd.
He sighed and silently cursed Ivan. It wasn't that he disliked the large, intimidating, Russian man, it was nice having a companion... and besides, he needed Toris as much as Toris needed him. But still... it'd be nice for someone else to be around in case Ivan accidentally killed him, at least someone sane would have known he existed.
He looked up from his melancholy daze to scan the street, searching for Ivan, but what he saw instead was, standing there in the middle of the street, a young man, blond hair frazzled and clothes all tattered. Toris suddenly felt a pang of compassion and empathy, that was probably a mirror image of himself before Ivan had found him...
Before he knew what was happening, he found himself quickly advancing toward the pitiful boy, and his body seemed to be acting without him. "H-hey. You look hungry... here." He said as he fumbled with his knapsack and withdrew a hunk of bread, forgetting his own hunger and the wrath he would most likely face back on the ship when the Captain found out he gave out his rations...

It was several seconds before Feliks realized someone was talking to him. He was slightly taken aback by this, as he hadn’t been expecting a stranger to talk to him, must less offer him a handout. Great, he probably looked even worse than he thought. Well, in any case, food was welcome as Feliks was quite hungry. He hadn’t eaten anything since the previous day. “Oh. Um… thanks,” he said, feeling slightly awkward as he accepted the bread. He wasn’t sure what else he should say to this boy, though he felt like he owed him more than a simple ‘thanks.’
Originally, Feliks was going to wait for the stranger to leave before he ate the bread, but the blonde couldn’t wait. He took a small bite, eyes darting away from the boy standing before him. “Um, so like, what’s your name?” He figured he would at least start a polite conversation with the person who had so generously fed him. Then maybe he would leave quickly…
Feliks did feel a bit bad for wanting the stranger gone, but he wasn’t all that great at dealing with people. That was another factor of pirate life that he wasn’t cut out for. He would no doubt have to interact with the crew. What had he been thinking earlier? That was just the problem, he hadn’t been thinking.
Actually, this boy didn’t seem all that bad. Feliks could see himself getting along well with him, if they did more than exchange names anyway.

Ivan wandered the streets trying to find his way back to the ship. luckilyfor him, instead of being lost he found his young friend Toris. Who was he with? This blonde and tattered boy infront of him? Ivan didn't think for long as he stepped behind him. He watched a bit causiously as Toris interacted with him. Something inside him sprouted. Jelousy. There was no reason he should be feeling that way, but he was, and quickly spoke up. "Toris..!" he stepped forward so he was close by him. "Toris there are you! I have gotten food!" his coat seemed to cover most of it, but you could really see that he had stolen it. His gaze happily wandered to te other man. "you? Who are you?" he asked almost showing his resent towards.

Toris didn't quite know what he had gotten into before it was too late. "Ah It's no problem... My name is-" He was about to reply to the blond boy, but the unmistakable voice of his captain seemed to answer for him. "C-captain! I- I was just looking for you." He shot a nervous glance over toward the stranger, whose well-being he was suddenly, unnaturally concerned about.

Feliks was very lucky he didn't choke on his bread when the new stranger appeared. It was a bit scary to have a very intimidating man appear out of nowhere. At least now he knew the kind boy's name. And he'd found a pirate. Well, Feliks figured he was a pirate if Toris was calling him 'captain.'
The blonde decided that he didn't like this man. He obviously made Toris nervous, so that was a major indication of his character. “I'm Feliks. And like, who are you?” Another bite and the bread was gone. Now at least he couldn't choke on it anymore.

Ivan took toris by the neck. "I am Ivan. I am the Captain!" he announced proudly. And captain he was! "Are you planning on joining ship, to be paying for that bread?" he asked, pinching Tori's arm, as if he knew what he had just done. "I have many things to be done, you can do!" He smiled at him, thinking this was the perfect opportunity to join the crew, for free. He thought he didnt have to share spoils for him, he looked homeless.
