*voice recording begins*
This is Air Vice-Marshal - ...... oh, right. I beg your pardon. No names are to be used in these recordings in case this information is breeched. In light of no names, allow me to briefly over-view the purpose of this recording. I have been placed on this team of investigators in charge of discovering the whereabouts and the reasons behind the leaving of one Nils Olstad from the United Navy.
*faint cough*
Um, about Mr. Olstad, he is twenty years old and of Norwegian descent. His family has had generations of military conduct, with his father being a highly decorated Admiral. Not much else is known about the younger Olstad, or about why he deserted after only two years of service.
What we have discovered is the beginnings of a trail - which is very good, in my opinion as I have the feeling the only true way we shall discover why he ran is by asking him himself. As it's my job to lead this investigation, I have been out asking locals if anyone had seen him. Personally, I think I was quite lucky in getting any information at all as the townspeople seemed to not want to discuss anything with outsiders.
I'm sadly disappointed in Olstad - with the history and his conduct up until now, I would have thought him a man of decency and good character. But... *clears throat* but the information I have discovered is that he has joined a... a pirate ship. And not just any ship... this one has been accumulating rumors for it's terrible captain and sacking sky ships as it roamed. The infamous Metall Podsolnuh.
*sighs*
Well - personally, I find that he's joined a sky-crew of any sort relieving. As a sky-man myself, I find it much easier to search the channels I'm used to. And, perhaps the fact that he was a seaman and not a skyman... he will be more likely to slip up. I hope to be able to finish this investigation soon as... as chasing this man... makes me uncomfortable.
