Feliciano was somewhat dissappointed when he failed to get some sort of translation. He shrugged and resolved to figure it out later-though likely as not he'd have forgotten about it long before that. Though both of his companions had said that it wasn't important-they seemed trustworthy-so the matter probably wasn't all that pressing anyway. "Ve~ Okay!"
Apparently the two were leaving now, sad-he'd actually been having fun. Wait, ship? That sounded interesting, maybe if he asked nicely enough they'd let him tag along?
"Can I come to? Please?" he begged, clanging back and forth between the two, unknowingly doing just as they'd wanted him to.

Gilbert tried to look indecisive. He tried to look unsure. He even tried to look a little wary. But for all his efforts, he didn't quite manage to stop the Cheshire grin that spread across his face. At this moment in his life, Gilbert literally felt like the cat that got the cream. Everything seemed to be going his way - knock on wood - and he prayed to Old Fritz that things would keep going his way.
"I dunno," he tried and failed to sound unsure as he looked at his first mate instead of the small Italian. His grin only seemed to grow. "Not just anyone can hold their own on a pirate ship, after all..."
He paused here for dramatic effect, although the amount of drama was cut short because Gilbert was so pleased with himself that he could hardly stop talking.
"Was denken Sie, Ludwig? Should we take wenig Feliciano with us?" It was all he could do to keep his face from splitting in two with the overwhelming smile that was over-taking it.
Was denken Sie = What do you think wenig = little

Ludwig was barely able to prevent his lips from tilting up, but he did manage it. Gilbert certainly knew what he was doing, sparking Feliciano's interest. And it had definitely worked, and Gilbert knew it. His cheshire-cat grin did not escape Ludwig, who still managed to maintain his ever-stoic demeanor.
"What Gilbert says is true, Feliciano," Ludwig said, folding his arms and pretending to look unsure. "This sort of life is not for everyone... It is only meant for a special sort of person... But..." He glanced at Gilbert, "...I suppose he might have what it takes, Kapitan. Perhaps we should take him with us? See how it goes?"

Feliciano's heart sank at the pirate captains words. He was almost certain the two would refuse and his lip quivered in disappointment. The two. Grins were lost on him as he waited nervously for ludwig's opinion on the matter.
He blinked in surprise when he realized that he hadn't been rejected. The italian nodded vigorously in agreement with the blondes statement. "please? I can handle it, i'll do my best!"

Gilbert nodded, his grin growing as he looked between Ludwig and Feliciano.
"Ja, Lud, I think that's a great idea," he crooned predatory gaze locking in on the small Italian again. "Let's bring him with for now and see how it goes."
He crossed the room and slung an arm over Feliciano's shoulders, grinning down at the smaller man. He began walking him slowly toward the door of the inn, glancing back at Ludwig and jerking his head toward the door in indication.
"We'll give you one chance, Feli. You can deal with that, ja?" his hand gripped the other's shoulder, squeezing in what he hoped was a reassuring way as he tried not to smile his shark grin until he had the young Italian on his ship.
"C'mon, Lud," he called over his shoulder at the other. "We have a lot to do before we set sail again."
