((Well, Iggymod said she wanted me to be a sea ship so...I guess I'll be a sea ship!))
Your Ship Name: Le Dame Amour
A former passenger carrier, the Dame is a bit larger than your average pirate ship. Originally a somewhat run down Carrack, Captain Bonnefoy had it modified to more closely resemble a Galleon, adding a fourth mast and lengthening the hull. The ship has a large captains cabin and several slightly smaller ones for the crew. In spite of its size the ship is lightly armed, boasting less than 2 dozen cannons all together.
The darkly colored, somewhat unobtrusive vessel is carried by eight brightly and very noticeable sails, as the captain favours the ships colors of red and blue over the average white.
Due to its slightly less than combative make and crew the Dame generally sticks to the less violent side of pirating, preferring kidnapping, blackmail and the occasional bit of mercenary work to pillaging. The ship and its crew do very little actual fighting, as they are generally able to pass themselves off as a merchant or passenger vessel to most other crafts.
When confronted with an actual battle, the captain and his crew will fight valiantly if they can't manage to make a get away-though the ship rarely comes away without some kind of injury.
The captain displays a rather obvious favoritism towards french ships. He avoids capturing their citizens, and will pay their merchant ships for goods instead of just taking them. Whether this is because he likes the ships or just an attempt to avoid running into someone he knows is anyone's guess.
The crew is a rather strange group of people. It consists of the crew assembled by the ships first mate before he gave up his ship to join aboard and the people that the Captain deemed interesting enough to hire. Though it can be a bit...lively at times this odd bunch generally works quite well together. Captain Bonnefoy tries to avoid harsh disciplinary methods and in return expects the loyalty and obedience of his crew.
